As the longest night of the year approaches, we gather to rest — not as retreat, but as quiet rebellion. Rest Fest is a spacious afternoon of stillness and connection, an antidote to the frenzy of the season.

Arrive when you wish between 2–6 PM and settle in. Register ahead for one of our yoga classes, or simply come to linger. Sip warm chai by the fire, enjoy a mini reiki or massage session, walk the solstice spiral, or rest in silent meditation.

Everything about this day is an invitation to slow down together — to reclaim our energy, our attention, and our joy from the pace of a world that asks too much.

All funds raised support Heartland Mindfulness Collective’s 2026 Scholarship Fund, helping us extend access to rest, mindfulness, and healing throughout our community.

3pm & 5pm

  • Melt into deep rest with a gentle restorative yoga practice designed to help your body soften and your mind slow down. Supported by props, breath, and stillness, this class honors the return to light as we move toward the Winter Solstice.

Each class will include optional hands-on adjustments offered by additional practitioners to deepen your experience of rest. At the end of practice, you’ll roll your own beeswax candle to take home — a symbol of your inner light carried forward into the season.

We are offering two identical sessions: 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM. To allow space for others to join, we ask guests to register for only one.

Pre-registration is required, as space is limited. Registrations are non-refundable, cannot be transferred or gifted, and we will not maintain a waitlist.

  • Donation-based with suggested tiers
